Episode 2 — Fragmentation: Die Technologie ist nur mein Freund

Beat 0 (0-7s) — SCROLL-STOPPER

Founder, direct-to-camera, neutral background. Slight forward-lean.

“We just crossed 100 Waitlist signups on Indiegogo. Long way to go.”

(Beat — half-second pause.)

Beat 1 (7-15s) — HARD PIVOT (CITE-prep)

“But that is not what I want to talk about today. I want to talk about what I am actually struggling with right now.”

(Tone shift: from announcement to confession. Slow down.)

Beat 2 (15-28s) — MARCO-DIVERGENCE structural sentence (NO blame)

“This month, our team got smaller. We scaled back the media-collaboration for cost reasons. It was a joint call. Aber die Arbeit ist nicht mit der Rolle verschwunden — sie ist umverteilt worden. Auf mich.”

Beat 3 (28-48s) — MULTI-DOMAIN INVENTORY (verbatim P01)

“Ich merke einfach selbst, wie viele Bereiche ich auf einmal einnehme.”

(Pause — let it land.)

“Pre-page. Produkt. Social. Content. Jede dieser Ebenen schreit täglich. Jede mit ähnlicher Priorität.”

Beat 4 (48-62s) — THE IRONY BEAT (Pillar-7 tool-naming, max 3)

“Und dann sitze ich vor den Tools, die ich mit A Friend und Onari eigentlich lösen möchte.”

(Camera holds. Slight shake permitted — let the next beat carry the visual chaos.)

“Drei Browser-Tabs zu Figma. Vier Terminal-Windows mit Claude-Code-Sessions. Higgsfield-Composer im Hintergrund. Alles fragmentiert auf das, was ein Ort sein sollte.”

[B-ROLL CUT — overwhelm at desk. Multiple terminal-windows. Visible agent-sessions running. Camera handheld, slight shake. Ambient sound builds: keyboard + fan + notification-pings. Crescendo 2-3 seconds. ONE cut only — not montage.]

Beat 5 (62-76s) — FILTER QUESTION + TRAP (verbatim P05 + P03)

(Back to direct-to-camera. Camera stable. Founder grounded.)

“Was braucht das, was ich mache, wirklich von mir? Jetzt.”

(Pause — 1.5 seconds. The question has to sit.)

“Weil leicht ist was zu finden was gefällt. Aber das ist nicht was Erfolg braucht.”

Beat 6 (76-88s) — KOMPLEXITÄT-NIMMT-EDGE (verbatim P05)

“Heutzutage kannst du alles bauen. Genau das nimmt dir die Edge. Die Komplexifizierung des Möglichen ist die Tarnung, die dir die Klarheit klaut.”

[B-ROLL CUT — hard cut to stillness. Same desk. Hands resting flat. One screen focused. Exhale audible. Silence holds for 1 full second before voiceover lands.]

Beat 7 (88-96s) — RESOLUTION AFFIRMATION (verbatim P02-resolution, slow + quiet)

(Voiceover OR direct-to-camera over the still-shot. Slow, quiet, almost relief. NEVER triumphant. NEVER product-tagline-cadence.)

“Die Technologie ist nur mein Freund.”

(Hold the line. 1 second of silence after.)

Beat 8 (96-110s) — BOOTSTRAP-MANDATE (verbatim P05-mandate)

“Bis ich da hinkomme, muss ich vereinfachen. Nicht alles abbilden. Die perfekte Form des Produkts jetzt — nicht in sechs Monaten. Effizient. Damit der Ausdruck nicht verloren geht.”

Beat 9 (110-118s) — FILTER-DOCTRINE + AUDIENCE-CUE (PROMISE CLOSE)

“Durchfiltern ist alles. Priorität erkennen, dann die Kaskade in den anderen Ebenen ableiten.”

(Final beat. Direct-to-camera. Open palm, casual.)

“Wie filterst du, wenn alle Ebenen ähnliche Priorität schreien?”

(End on silence. No outro. No CTA. No A Friend product-mention.)

Tool-naming check (pre-record reflex drill)

Beat 4 names 3 tools with combination-context. Verify before record:

ToolContext-anchorJob-being-done
Figma”Drei Browser-Tabs”Multi-window pain — same surface fragmented across tabs
Claude-Code”Vier Terminal-Windows”Parallel sessions — agent-load fragmentation
Higgsfield-Composer”im Hintergrund”Side-tool — context held in another browser surface

Anti-pattern check: NOT bare tool-names. NOT 6 tools in one breath. NOT “Notion / Figma / Higgsfield / Calendar / Browser-tabs” listed flat — pick 3 + context. Pillar-7 honored.

Anti-patterns to dodge mid-record

  • NO Marco-blame. Beat 2 is structural-shift only. If your tone slips into grievance, cut and re-take. Or omit Beat 2 entirely — the script still works.
  • NO corporate-pitch on Beat 7. “Die Technologie ist nur mein Freund” is personal arrival. Delivery: slow, quiet, almost relief. If it lands like a product slogan, kill the line and edit it out — let Beat 8 carry the resolution alone.
  • NO B-Roll overuse. Two cuts maximum (overwhelm-crescendo + stillness-resolution). NOT a montage.
  • NO “lessons learned” wrap-up. Beat 9 closes on open question, not closure.
  • NO solution-mode close. Never “and that’s why A Friend will fix this”. Never “the product I’m building is the answer”. Stay in the question. The product is the implicit answer, never the explicit pitch.
  • NO listing 6 tools in one breath — Beat 4 caps at 3 with context. Do not improvise additional tool-names mid-take.
  • NO complexity-confession turning into self-pity. Confession (Beat 3) + filter-question (Beat 5) = ok. Confession + sad-trombone-delivery = kill.
  • NO exclamation-points-in-delivery. Brand-voice rule — no exclamation marks, no exclamation cadence. Tone stays grounded.

On-camera cite recommendation

  • Visual context: founder at his actual desk (the one in B-Roll). Neutral lighting. Same desk before and after the B-Roll-cut for continuity.
  • Wardrobe: founder’s typical (no costume shift). Authenticity carries Beat 2 + Beat 7.
  • Eye-contact: direct camera throughout EXCEPT during the B-Roll cuts. After the second B-Roll cut (Beat 7), eyes can briefly look away then return — visual marker of the arrival.
  • No on-screen text overlays during Beats 7-9. The resolution must be voice-carried, not text-supported. If text needed, only Beat 0 (100-Waitlist count) and Beat 9 (filter-question for shareability).
  • Audio: clean. Single lavalier. NO music under Beats 5-9. Silence is the medium for the resolution.
